Prophetic Word For 2006
Back

This will be 2 years crowned by upheaval, unrest and dissatisfaction. Both in the US and abroad the newspapers will continue to report unsettled economic and political conditions. This will be driven by record unemployment levels, rising fuel costs, a flat housing market and the near financial collapse of two additional European nations. The British Pound will gain strength, as will the Canadian Dollar, but the Euro will continue it's slow downward spiral. This will spark a massive financial shift in European finances as the World Bank takes record losses. Hundreds of millions of Euro's will be earmarked to bolster and falsely maintain the unsustainable economies of it's member nations and their national programs. This windfall of easy money will draw countries with weaker economic outlooks toward a greater unification of the European economy. Fringe political movements will pick up steam in the wake of this shift. They will use the time of financial shift as an opportunity to grow stronger and will even be instrumental in orchestrating a season of false European peace. This false peace will be hailed around the world as the beginning of Europe's emergence from crisis and it will hold up what they are doing as the model for others to follow.

Under the surface of this false European peace will be a growing, well defined cancer that will have it's time to erupt.  After this season of peace the balance of political and financial power will begin a slow, deliberate shift to the left in many sectors. This shift will begin to take place when two key events happen. One event is that a well known head of State will die suddenly in office. The funeral will be seen globally and the loss of this beloved leader will shake the nation. Even while that nation mourns it's fallen leader of a less politically centered or more radical element will come to power with a promise to "keep the nation peaceful, safe and moving forward". The other event that signals the beginning of this global shift will be the assassination of a well know head of state. This will be a bold act of defiance and violence done in the open for all to see. It will explode on the scene and trigger a new level and new wave of terrorism not seen up to this time. This unprovoked, demonic act will send shock waves globally. It will impact global security, global financial markets and bring a push for fresh global cooperation among the nations. This will bring about a call for greater collaboration in the four main sectors of global control which include politics, economics, communication and the military. It will begin two decades of slow, deliberate, almost undetectable consolidation that convinces people they are in need of a stronger but benevolent global level of oversight to keep the peace and protect the weak.

As for the United States, the political climate will become increasingly hostile and divided because of the outcome of the 2012 presidential election.  A successful yet distressing re-election will reveal the presidency has never had the needed experience, answers, clear leadership, support or political clout to jump start the nations failing economy. Unfulfilled promises will remain that way to the end and this will set the stage for an ongoing Republican takeover in 2014 and 2016. Great division will rock the nation over the next 4 years and the distance between political left and political right will become wider and wider. This unrest will be fueled by the inability of key party leaders to work in a balanced way for the benefit of the nation. As a result a third political party will take on legitimacy and begin to emerge as a formidable force. It will be this third political party that actually shifts the votes of many in the elections of the next 20 years. This grass roots conservative  movement will get stronger as new voters emerge, even though the main political parties will do their best to marginalize it. This third part will eventually change the old order of politics in the United States. It will be an advocate to bring about financial reform in key areas of the election process, campaigning  and the disclosure of election finances. In time it will even have it's own candidate run for presidential office and contrary to all the polls, will gain significant victories.

The Canadian political and financial climate will continue to remain relatively settled, strong and unruffled over the next several  years. The Canadian dollar will continue to gain ground very slowly over the US dollar, even though the Canadian economy will remain sluggish due to the condition of the world financial markets. There will be a new wave of exports from Canada that include lumber, mineral wealth, oil and natural gas. That push will open up new markets and bring a fresh flow of finances into the Canadian economy that will level it out and prevent it from going to the low place that the US, Mexico and Europe are headed. Canada will not just see it's natural resources be a blessing, but God is about to send a fresh wave of His Spirit into Canada once again. The Northern regions of Canada are being primed for a visitation of God that will flow southward into Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island and Quebec. Ontario and Manitoba will also feel a fresh move of the Spirit as well. From both these provinces God will move westward across Canada. This will hit one place and skip over another. Those who have heard the call to pray and have prepared over the past few years are about to receive their reward!

The geology and meteorology of the planet will reflect what is happening financially and politically. Unusual weather in unusual places at unusual times will be reported and recorded again and again. Right from the start of 2012 old records for heat, cold, lack of snow, excess of snow and rain, tornadoes and fires will be broken in record numbers. South central areas in Texas that lacked rain for several years will find it is given more than it's share of rain in the spring and into next fall of 2012. Flash flooding will be hit the news from those areas. A record heat wave will hit Texas and most of the mid west, southwest and Southeastern US once again. The Northeast will be above average for temperature as well and the summer of 2012 will be dryer than normal. West Coast will see heavy winds on several occasions in the late summer and early fall of 2012. Although they will be fewer in number, the fires that burn across the state will destroy more property than in the past. Insurance companies will not cover all the losses and this will start reforms in the insurance industry in that area.  Geologically many smaller earth quakes and tremors will be reported in the US and abroad in places that almost never had them in the past. This will cause a lot of wild speculation in the "green" camp about the impact of drilling, harvesting of lumber and the harvesting of mineral resources. Most of this will not be based in science but it will fire up a false fear that revitalizes their movement and the fear of global warming in a new way. Crustal shifting will set off several major quakes and aftershocks in the pacific "Ring of Fire". Asia will also see geological upheaval with two major quakes, one being in China,  and several smaller ones hitting the area during 2012 and 2013.

This will not be a good time for those who are expecting the stock market to replenish their finances. Those who can ride the waves will see fortunes come and go weekly and even daily. Instability will be the hallmark of 2012 and 2013. Fluctuations above 300 points in the market on a weekly and frequently on a daily basis will drive many investors out of the market and into a frenzy of selling on a regular basis. The global markets will remain flat overall with a brief upward thrust when the European Economic Community pumps money once again into their faltering economy. However record losses will follow as the financial balloon pops.  The World Bank will have record losses but not fully report it in order to prevent global financial panic. Nations currently struggling will continue to do so and two additional European nations will head into default and bankruptcy. The words "bail out" will be heard again and again as Europe seeks to put a patch on a financial mess that must be reformed and repented of not repaired. Financial corruption and mismanagement will be exposed at national levels during this time. Greed and excess that has been well known and well hidden among national leaders will be exposed and this will add to the unrest and mistrust that has been rising in Europe and among the members of the E.E.C.

This will be a good time for the church and God's people. The harvest is coming in and those who have been equipped will begin to see a huge increase in healings and salvations. Russia, South America and the Philippines will see an explosion of churches and new apostolic networks will develop to help train and oversee the growth. God is calling local churches to grow solid in numbers and finances as they reaffirm  and secure foundational Biblical truths in the people. The outward expression of God's inward kingdom is going to become stronger and stronger in this season of shaking. God will put a demand on what He has placed in every believer and many will rise to the challenge. He will call people to step up and act with boldness, compassion and love like never before. During this same time there will be many who default back to the safety of more traditional churches. Those who want more can have it and those who seek nominal Christianity will move back into the shadows. There is a harvest of radical young people waiting to come in. The call to the church in 2012 and 2013 is to get out of the comfort zone, reach out to those who need Christ and love those who are seeking the truth, no matter what they look like. God's heart is in it and those who step out will see souls, finances, maturity and growth in every way come to them and to their church.

This will be a great time for those who are in an active, evangelical church. Community opportunities will abound and those who get outside the church walls will be given innovative, compassionate and practical ideas to bring in the harvest. Churches sensitive to God's heart will be called upon to use His resources to help the hurting, especially if the hurting are not part of that particular congregation. God is calling His Church to think outside the walls and get outside the walls!  Do church in the community and for the community! God will get the glory and your local church will get the people.  Those who have an ear let them hear ......
